And if you fuse, you'll have a 2100 ATK monster or so, but if you don't, you're stuck with a deck full of 700ATK monster cards until late in the game. At a decently early point in the game, (like battle 4) you have to be able to fuse incredibly powerful monsters or you will lose. The big thing in this game is FUSIONS, and there are no indicators that a monster is going to fuse. You better know your stuff or have a guide handy. The biggest thing here is the difficulty. The gameplay is what you should expect from Yu-Gi-Oh, go from battle to battle with increasing difficulty until you are the champion or save the world (in this case, the latter).
